Preparation for The Three Days of Darkness

Pray, hope, and don't worry -- St. Padre Pio

Divine Mercy Image
Jesus offers Divine Mercy for everyone. Accept it before it is too late.

THE THREE (3) DAYS OF DARKNESS

The Bible has foretold a time of the earth’s chastisement, unmatched by any in history. Many will lose their lives, but not all. The time will also be a purification and usher in a new era of profound peace and love. We want to be prepared whether this event comes about sooner or later.

Recent Visionaries

Saints, Blesseds, and others who have predicted such events, were born in different places and times, unknown to each other but whose visions and prophecies are strikingly similar of a time to come:

1.       St. Padre Pio

2.       St. Faustina Kowalska (Divine Mercy Prayer)

3.       St. John (Don) Bosco

4.       St. Caspar del Bufulu

5.       Anne Kathryn Hemmerick

6.       Julie-Marie Jahenny

7.       Blessed Anna Maria Taigi

8.       Blessed Elizabeth Canori-Mora

9.       Blessed Mary of Jesus Crucified

The Roman Catholic Church has not approved, nor disapproved the words of the visionaries. It is up to every individual to decide for themselves the extent of the manifestations of the Three Days of Darkness.  We have listed these references for you so you can do your own homework. You can easily look them up on the internet to learn more.

HOW TO PREPARE

1.       Pray, Pray, Pray! (Personal/communal prayer, the rosary, devotions, etc.)

2.       Keep enough food and water for these three days

3.       Meditate before a crucifix and sacramentals

4.       Prepare a blessed pure wax candle

5.       Spread Holy Water around your home

6.       Secure locks and close windows (you will know when)

Spirit of Prayer: Acknowledge Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior, beg for His Mercy, and put your trust in Christ the King; make acts of contrition, reparation, mortification, pray and offer your sufferings for the Restoration of the Church, do penance, and turn totally towards God, remain in a state of grace, return to Sunday services, consecrate yourself to Our Blessed Mother.

“The air will be poisoned, thus killing off most of the enemies of Christ’s Church. During these 3 Days of Darkness the only light available to men will be blessed candles, and one candle will burn the entire period. However, even blessed candles will not light in the house of the godless, yet once the candle is lit by one in the state of grace, it will not burn out until the 3 Days of Darkness is over.” (Rev. R. Gerald Culleton, 1941)

Jesus spoke these words: Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken (Matthew: 24:29).

Spread the Message. Those who spread the message will be protected, but the scoffers, the skeptics, and those who dismiss the message because they are frightened, will not escape the chastisement.

But the source of life gushed forth for souls, and the ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world. O Fount of Life, unfathomable Divine Mercy, envelop the whole world and empty yourself out upon us.

7. Holy God

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world. (3x).

8. Final Prayer

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your Holy Will, which is Love and Mercy itself.

JESUS himself revealed the Chaplet of the DIVINE MERCY to Sister Faustina and asked her to pray the Chaplet unceasingly. JESUS told her: Say unceasingly the chaplet that I have taught you. Whoever will recite it will receive great mercy at the hour of death.
